The simplicity of sun, sea and sand...

Sawadee! This is the last post from Koh Mak, at least on this trip. Today is the last day of the retreat, and tomorrow we are heading back to the mainland and Bangkok. Almost half the group left already this morning, so there is a bit of a quiet atmosphere here today. This means that I’ll start my “real” holiday tomorrow! :) It also means no more 3 am mornings, no more sleeping in the hammock, no more walks on the beach, no more sandflies and no more group meditations in the evenings… Some things I’ll miss, some I won’t! ;)

Paradise!

As most of you know, I’m in Thailand right now. I’m spending four weeks on Koh Mak, a little green paradise island off the South-East coast. And yes, it is yoga related :)

…and since I’ve gotten the question several times; No, I don’t know how to go on holiday like “normal” people! ;) This IS the perfect holiday, with interesting things to do and discover, nice people to hang out with and other people who take care of you, cook food for you, clean your room every day etc. Getting up before 4 am isn’t really a problem, it just makes the days longer ;)

Yoga is never the answer, it just prepares us to find the answers in more appropriate places, or at the very least to quit asking the questions.
