my beloved magician
keeping the audience spellbound
with sleight of hand
is no feat
enchanted and eager to believe
oblivious to the
open secret
flipping a coin, asking head or tails?
(neither and both
always!)
pointing to only two sides of the coin
is discounting both copper
and wholeness
now, set the coin spinning on its edge
and watch it revolve
unceasingly
who will pay attention to the stillness
in the very midst of this
whirling?
