There was an article in the Bombay Times section of The Times Of India (Mumbai) yesterday, where Imtiaz Ali lists »17 movies to die for«. I’m reposting it here, because I’ll definitely be trying to look up all of the ones I haven’t already seen :)

Filmi Musings goes live!
Today is a very special day for celebrating new beginnings, so I’m taking this opportunity to relaunch the Indian cinema related part of this blog as a separate blog!
I belive it’s a great option for those of you who are interested only in my filmi posts :) In addition, there will be plenty of English translations of reviews and features from www.divani.se available there too.
And to make it even more special I’m releasing a never before published post about when I met Vivek Oberoi in Mumbai last year :)
Welcome to the virtual launch party :) Chai biskut for everyone…!
Enjoy!

Storytime with Bips
I enjoy Twitter a lot, especially because it makes it so easy to keep in touch with many of my favourite people in the Indian film industry as well as other film(i) enthusiasts :)
I’m Deteriorating
This is a still from one of the funniest scenes in the film Dil Kabaddi. Irrfan Khan’s character (the guy doing a headstand) is a married man who is just about to cheat on his wife. He panics, and in an attempt to calm himself down he desperately starts doing some pranayama and a couple of yoga asanas. His line »I’m deteriorating,« and how he delivers it… hehe, it absolutely cracks me up, every single time! :)
This is such a nonsense post if you haven’t seen the movie, haha… sorry about that :)
Stealing a Bite…

Shahid & Priyanka in Kaminey
Twitter can be such a wonderful place at times, especially if you’re following people like Shahid Kapoor. Just look at this series of tweets that he posted from Edinburgh, Scotland, tonight:
Life never seizes to surprise ….. Never say never
Change is the only constant I guess.
‘The chocobar’ the best solution for an emotionally draining day … Fully recommended
Stealing a bite from another …… Even better
Awww… That’s the most delicious thing I’ve heard in a very long time, love it! There’s got to be a story there… ;) He’s awesome in so many ways ♥
The Celebration Inside

Hrithik Roshan
Dance is just an expression of the celebration you feel inside. I respect a dancer who does not care about looking stupid and dances for the sheer pleasure of expression.
