Be Supple as the Wind

Be supple as the wind
life is right in any case

— Kama Sutra

Mystery of Love

Temptations endless whispers
Try to keep it in perspective
So much to distract
Walking on a wire
While your juggling desire
It’s all part of this balancing act

— David Gray, Mystery of Love

With Every Step

We cross infinity with every step;
we meet eternity in every second.

— Rabindranath Tagore

Looking for missing pieces
yearning, aching to
piece it all together
to find true peace
Failing to realize
peace was always here
even before the pieces.

Nothing is Left Undone

Less and less do you need to force things,
until finally you arrive at non-action.
When nothing is done,
nothing is left undone.

— Tao Te Ching

For the Love of Shiva

I love Shiva. He is the greatest teacher. Shiva has helped me realize that disillusionment is a beautiful thing, and that less truly is more. Through his though love and bittersweet lessons, I’m slowly discovering the art of becoming empty. By his grace, I am finding myself once again.

New Eyewear

I love my new eyewear. These eyeglasses help me see all the pretty things around me and in people I meet. And the colour of the lovely, chunky frames couldn’t be more gorgeous – an absolutely yummy, warm brown that goes very well with both my skintone and my natural hair colour.

Four weeks ago, I walked into a store and they picked me. No one single pair said “I am the one” like they did. As luck would have it, they were one of the least pricey ones in the whole store, so I would guess that they really liked me. I liked them back. Very much so.

For someone like me who is blind as a bat without my glasses, eyewear becomes part of who you are. I reckon this pair is more me than any of the other pairs I’ve had over the years.
